Claudine and Scott are two AMAZING people… with a fabulous festival themed wedding reception and a huge array of wonderfulness to keep the 37 children who came along fully entertained all day. After a beautiful service at St Catharine’s Church, Houghton-on-the-Hill we headed over to Bridge House Farm, Kibworth. The amount of work that went into this wedding was unbelievable – everywhere you looked were giant flags, colourful streamers and fabulously decorated wooden structures. Guests were treated to an ice-cream van, drumming workshops, a ceilidh and later in the evening fires were lit to keep everyone toasty warm not to mention 100 tea lights – just magical!
The day began with lots of beautiful plaits being created at Yan Hair on Queen’s Park Road
A beautiful mother and daughter moment I am so happy I caught
One of my personal favourite photographs from the day
I loved the blue cornflower hair decoration Claudine chose
I am always happy to see a dress with a touch of vintage about it!
We found the perfect spot in the garden for some – very quick – pre-ceremony portraits, despite it being a bit of a rush I am so glad we made time!
Meanwhile…Dave was with the boys down the pub!
Love this little boy with the camera – future wedding photographer in the making?
Scott’s face as Claudine walked into the church just says it all!
Are you ready for a seriously fun reception!!!
Fabulous Festival Wedding Bridge House Barn!
If you ever want a face painter call Livi Lollipop the face painting fairy- she is awesome (I am personally wondering how old our baby April has to be before we have an excuse to book her for a birthday party!)
What an amazing kids entertainment line-up, with their very own ‘Kids Zone’ marquee, bouncy castle, inflatables, velcro wall…..the list goes on. Needless to say there were lots of smiles!
Being big fans of camping ourselves we were very impressed with the ‘Glamping’ area!
Ok – so later we figured out that the gate did actually open – but climbing over in a wedding dress is much more fun!
Check out this great kids table hedgehog center piece – looks great and keeps little ones busy drawing on the table cloth too!
The buffet was veggie heaven and a hog roast kept the meat eaters happy too!
Kid’s disco whilst the adults finished their meal – genius!
Bridge House Barn’s horse trailer bar – Love it!
Oh yeah … let the dancing commence!
THE FABULOUS WEDDING PHOTOBOOTH
Dave did a great job with the photo booth and our new photo booth pets Felicity the flamingo and Danny the dinosaur were in high demand!
We would like to say a big thank you to Claudine and Scott for choosing us to photograph their amazing day, it was awesome!
